DIRECT BILLING
At MICRO MVMT, we offer direct billing for registered massage therapy as a courtesy to help make your experience as seamless as possible. While we work with many insurance providers, coverage is determined by your individual plan, and we are unable to guarantee approval or full reimbursement.
Any portion of your treatment not covered—such as co-payments, deductibles, or denied claims—remains the responsibility of the patient.
If your insurance provider is not available for direct billing, a detailed receipt will be provided for you to submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement.
For the most accurate information, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm your massage therapy coverage, including benefits, limits, and eligibility under your plan.

INSURANCE FAQ
-
Coverage for Registered Massage Therapy at MICRO MVMT varies depending on your individual insurance provider and plan. While we offer direct billing as a convenience, we cannot guarantee coverage or provide details specific to your policy.
We strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider directly or reviewing your plan documents to confirm coverage, any limits, and any conditions that may apply to massage therapy services.
Please note that some insurance providers may require patients to pay upfront and submit claims for reimbursement. In these cases, reimbursement may be issued directly to the insured individual rather than the clinic.

Information Required for Direct Billing & Insurance Claims
To process direct billing or submit claims for Registered Massage Therapy at MICRO MVMT in Langley, you will need to provide the following details from your insurance plan:
Certificate/ID number
Plan or Group number
Full legal name of the insured (and spouse, child, or dependent, if applicable)

In some cases, your insurance provider may require additional documentation, such as a doctor’s note, to approve coverage. Requirements may vary by provider and plan, we strongly recommend confirming with your insurance company directly to understand what documentation may be needed before your appointment.

Direct Billing to Multiple Insurance Providers – Registered Massage Therapy in Langley
At MICRO MVMT, we strive to make direct billing for Registered Massage Therapy in Langley as seamless as possible. Please note that coverage cannot be guaranteed for every session, as approval depends on your individual benefits plan.
Occasionally, issues with the submission portal or clinic logistics may occur without notice. If we are direct billing to two insurance providers on your behalf and only a portion—or none—of your session is covered, the remaining balance is the responsibility of the patient.
When you have coverage through both a primary and secondary insurance plan, we will attempt to submit any outstanding balance to your secondary insurer. However, primary insurance must always be billed first, and not all insurance companies coordinate directly with one another. In some cases, you may need to submit a portion or the full amount to your secondary provider for reimbursement.
Important Note: Coverage through primary and secondary insurance providers is not available for patients with an open ICBC claim.
We recommend confirming with your insurance providers in advance to fully understand coverage, submission requirements, and any documentation that may be needed. This ensures your Registered Massage Therapy treatments in Langley proceed smoothly with minimal billing delays.

If your insurance provider is not listed, we are happy to provide you with a detailed receipt for your Registered Massage Therapy session. You can then submit this receipt directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.
To make the process seamless and contactless, we recommend updating your Jane App account with a valid credit card or arranging payment via E-transfer. All E-transfers can be sent to info@microwellness.ca.
For guidance on updating your payment information and setting up a contactless payment method, please follow the JaneApp’s step-by-step guide here

Important Notes on Coverage & Responsibility
Coverage is not guaranteed. Direct billing depends on your plan’s terms, and MICRO MVMT cannot guarantee approval for every session.
Clinic or portal issues may occur. Occasionally, submission portal errors or clinic logistics may delay billing without notice.
Secondary insurance processing. If you have coverage through two insurance providers, we will submit the outstanding balance to your secondary insurer. Please note that primary insurance cannot be bypassed, and some providers may require you to pay part or all of the cost upfront and submit for reimbursement yourself.
ICBC claims. Primary and secondary insurance providers do not provide coverage for sessions while an ICBC claim is open.
Patient Responsibility
Any portion of your Registered Massage Therapy appointment in Langley not covered by insurance is the responsibility of the patient and must be paid at the time of service. This includes situations where only part of your session is covered or direct billing is unsuccessful.
