Do we provide Direct Billing? Yes, we do!

Please note that all our direct billing is a courtesy service and not a guarantee that direct billing will be approved or covered by your provider.

It is the patient’s obligation and responsibility to pay for any outstanding balance owing, which may result in the full amount of the appointment. If, for any reason, we are unable to direct bill on your behalf it is your responsibility to pay for the service you were provided, in full.

Please be aware that we can not guarantee direct billing for every treatment due to issues with individual benefits plan. Problems with submission portal or clinic logistic considerations may occur without notice.

If we are direct billing on your behalf and only a portion or none of your session is covered we may arrange for one of the following forms of payment:

  • E-transfer

  • Take payment with our secure tap option

  • Process payment with a credit card on your profile.

    In case of unforeseen complications with the insurance company we will contact you as soon as possible. Please note all transactions are conducted by the Therapist inside the treatment room

Unfortunately, we do NOT bill to WCB and not every Practitioner is able to accommodate ICBC patients.

INSURANCE FAQ

  • Coverage varies by insurance provider and plan. We cannot guarantee coverage, nor provide with details on your policy.

    We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly or checking your plan details to confirm coverage and review any conditions that may apply for our services .

    Please note some providers may require individuals to pay upfront in order for reimbursement to occur, in which case the funds may go directly to the insured member and not the Clinic.

  • You will need to provide details such as:

    • The Certificate/ID number

    • Plan/Group number

    • FULL LEGAL Name/Name of Spouse/ Child/ Dependent

    • Date of Birth

    • Name of the insurer

    If additional information is required such as a Doctor’s Note, you will be notified.

  • Please be aware that we can not guarantee direct billing for every session due to issues with individual benefits plan.

    Problems with submission portal or clinic logistic considerations may occur without notice. If we are direct billing to two insurance companies on your behalf and only a portion or none of your session is covered, you are responsible for payment.

    In the event that you have two insurance coverage and you have a remaining amount, we will attempt to submit the outstanding balance to your secondary insurance company.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to bypass your primary insurance.

    Not all insurance companies will correspond with one another and may require you to submit a portion or up to the full amount to them privately.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Primary and Secondary Insurance Providers will not provide coverage when you have an OPEN ICBC Claim.

  • For all other providers we will email you a receipt. You may use this receipt to submit your claim privately.

    To promote contactless payment, please update your Jane Account with a valid credit card or arrange for an E-transfer. All E-transfers are payable to info@microwellness.ca
