Accessibility
Care Should Feel Easier to Access
At MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO, we believe thoughtful care includes considering how people access it.
Every person may interact with healthcare differently. Accessibility needs can be physical, sensory, cognitive, communication-related, technological, temporary, or ongoing—and they may not always be visible.
Our goal is to create a welcoming and respectful experience across our clinic, virtual services, website, and communications while continuing to identify and reduce barriers wherever reasonably possible.

ACCESSIBILITY IN OUR CARE
01 |
If there is something that would make your appointment easier or more comfortable to access, we encourage you to let us know.
Depending on your needs, practitioner, service, and location, we will make reasonable efforts to explore options such as:
Adjustments to communication or appointment instructions
Clarification when completing forms
Support with accessing digital forms or information
Consideration of mobility or physical accessibility needs
A support person accompanying you when appropriate
Virtual care when clinically appropriate and available
Other reasonable adjustments related to accessing your care
Accessibility needs are individual. Not every accommodation may be available in every circumstance, but we welcome the opportunity to understand what you need and explore what may reasonably be possible.
IN-PERSON ACCESSIBILITY
02 |
MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO operates within shared professional spaces, and certain aspects of the building or common areas may be managed by the property or facility rather than directly by our clinic.
If you have mobility, sensory, environmental, or other accessibility considerations, we encourage you to contact us before your appointment. Our team can provide available information about the location and help you determine whether any arrangements should be made before your visit.
We would rather have the conversation ahead of time than have you arrive unsure of what to expect.
VIRTUAL CARE & DIGITAL ACCESS
03 |
For some clients, receiving care virtually can reduce barriers associated with transportation, mobility, distance, scheduling, or attending a physical location.
MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO offers virtual Registered Clinical Counselling for eligible clients throughout British Columbia. Virtual Care services may expand and/or change in the future.
We also aim to keep our website and digital information clear, readable, and easy to navigate across commonly used devices and technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and digital experiences can vary depending on the device, browser, software, or assistive technology being used.
If you encounter difficulty accessing information on our website, booking system, online forms, or other digital resources, please contact us. Where reasonably possible, we will work with you to provide the information another way.
COMMUNICATION & INDIVIDUAL NEEDS
04 |
You know your accessibility needs best.
You are welcome to tell us how we can communicate with you more effectively or whether there is something we should consider when preparing for your appointment.
You do not need to provide more personal or medical information than is reasonably necessary for us to understand and respond to your request.
Any personal information provided to MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
SERVICE ANIMALS & SUPPORT PERSONS
05 |
Clients who rely on a service animal or support person are encouraged to contact us before their appointment if arrangements or clarification would be helpful.
Where applicable, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate access while considering the nature of the healthcare service, safety, privacy, infection-control requirements, building requirements, and the needs of others within the shared space.
A SHARED COMMITMENT TO IMPROVING ACCESS
06 |
Accessibility is not something we consider finished.
As our clinic, services, locations, and digital resources evolve, we will continue to consider ways to make accessing care clearer, more comfortable, and more inclusive.
If you experience an accessibility barrier while interacting with MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO, we welcome you to tell us.
Feedback may relate to:
Our website or online booking experience
Digital forms or written information
Communication with our clinic
Accessing an in-person appointment
Accessing virtual care
An accessibility barrier you encountered
An accommodation that may help you access our services
Feedback can be provided privately by contacting our clinic directly.
We will review accessibility concerns in good faith and, where reasonably possible, consider practical ways to address or reduce identified barriers.

OUR APPROACH
08 |
Accessibility can look different for every person.
For us, it begins with listening, remaining open to individual needs, and making thoughtful adjustments where reasonably possible.
Small changes can make care easier to access—and sometimes, a little consideration can make all the difference.
