Counselling That Starts with You
Therapy doesn't have to begin with a diagnosis, a crisis, or knowing exactly what you want to talk about.
Sometimes you know what feels difficult. Other times, you simply recognize that something has changed.
Individual counselling creates room to slow down, understand what may be contributing to how you feel, and explore new ways of responding to the challenges in your life.
Your sessions are shaped around your experiences, priorities and goals. Depending on what brings you to counselling, this may involve processing difficult emotions, developing coping strategies, exploring relationship patterns, strengthening boundaries, or gaining a clearer understanding of yourself.
When Individual Counselling May Be Helpful
People begin counselling for many different reasons.
You may be looking for support with:
Anxiety, worry or feeling overwhelmed
Stress, burnout or emotional exhaustion
Depression or persistent low mood
Grief and loss
Changes in relationships or family dynamics
Major life transitions or uncertainty
Self-esteem, confidence or identity
Boundaries and communication
Emotional regulation and coping
Personal growth and self-understanding
You don't need to identify with a specific concern before reaching out. Counselling can also be a place to better understand yourself, reflect on what matters to you, and make intentional changes in your life.
Virtual Counselling, Designed Around Real Life
Care That Can Meet You Where You Are
Finding time for counselling shouldn't require adding another commute to an already full day.
Virtual counselling offers the same dedicated one-on-one time with your counsellor while allowing you to attend from a private, comfortable space. For many clients, removing travel and waiting-room time makes counselling easier to incorporate consistently into everyday life.
Virtual individual counselling through MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO is available to clients throughout British Columbia.
