MICRO MVMT & HEALTH CO. is welcoming another Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to join our growing counselling team in a primarily virtual position serving clients in British Columbia.
We are looking for a thoughtful, compassionate, and self-directed counsellor who values the flexibility of virtual practice while appreciating the administrative systems, technology, marketing, and clinic support of an established multidisciplinary practice.
This opportunity may suit an RCC looking to expand an existing practice or a counsellor interested in developing their caseload within a supportive, virtual-first clinic model.
Who This Opportunity May Be For
This opportunity is particularly well suited to established Registered Clinical Counsellors who are comfortable practising independently and taking an active role in building and maintaining their practice. Preference may be given to applicants with at least one year of post-registration clinical experience and an established or actively developing caseload. MICRO provides administrative, marketing, and practice support while encouraging each practitioner to develop their practice in a way that aligns with their professional scope, competencies, and responsibilities.

Your Role as an RCC
As an RCC with MICRO, you will provide counselling services consistent with your education, competence, professional judgement, and applicable professional standards.
Responsibilities include:
Providing client-centred clinical counselling
Completing appropriate intake and clinical assessment
Collaboratively establishing counselling goals and plans
Obtaining and documenting informed consent
Maintaining timely, accurate, and confidential clinical records
Providing virtual services through appropriate private and secure systems
Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
Recognizing and appropriately responding to risk and safety concerns
Making referrals or collaborating with other professionals when appropriate and with appropriate consent
Practising within your education, training, experience, and competence

Requirements
Applicants must have:
Current Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation
Active membership and good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) or another recognized professional counselling association or regulatory body applicable to the practitioner’s designation and scope of practice in British Columbia
Professional liability insurance
Appropriate education and clinical training
Ability to provide virtual counselling from a private, confidential, and professional environment
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Appropriate technology and reliable internet access for virtual practice
