WHO THIS OPPORTUNITY MAY SUIT
This opportunity is particularly well suited to Registered Massage Therapists who are comfortable practising independently and taking an active role in building and maintaining their practice. Preference may be given to applicants with at least one year of post-registration clinical experience and an established or actively developing caseload. MICRO provides administrative, marketing, and practice support while encouraging each practitioner to develop their practice in alignment with their professional scope, competencies, and responsibilities.

Your Role as an RMT
As part of MICRO, you will independently provide massage therapy services consistent with your education, competence, professional judgement, and scope of practice.
Responsibilities include:
Completing appropriate patient assessments
Developing individualized treatment plans
Obtaining and documenting informed consent
Providing massage therapy within your professional scope and competencies
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
Providing appropriate patient education and recommendations
Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
Following infection prevention, clinic, privacy, and safety policies
Collaborating or referring to other healthcare professionals when appropriate
